I started this blog eight years ago because I wanted my voice to be heard. I have ALWAYS wanted my voice to be heard. When I was in high school, I was on the school newspaper. What did I write? Editorials! I do not think I am always right. I do not think everyone should agree with me, but I do want to be heard.
Along the way of those eight years, I got off track. In hopes of being heard I attempted to blog about "in" things: recipes, crafts, parenting, homeschooling. But I couldn't keep up. I am a jack of all trades and master of none. I do not want to sound like I am an expert in any of those things, and all the popular blogs made the author sound that way. I couldn't compete, so I didn't try to keep up.
So I stopped speaking up. Recently, I have learned, however, that I can speak up with my thoughts and feelings and that I don't have to be, nor should I try to be an expert. I am a woman and mom who is striving to become what God made me to be.
This blog is my thoughts along that journey.
